Dual purpose system for unrivalled performance

A dual purpose brushing system that is ideally suited to either a sand or rubber crumb maintenance programme. Comprising of a pair of oscillating brush units, the OSCA 3 allows for periodic aggressive brushing to be undertaken to agitate the upper infill level helping reduce compaction, encourage fibres to stand upright and reduce the risk of contamination and surface water.

By switching off the pto, the brush system can be used as a conventional dragbrush for the more regular light brushing programme to help stand up the fibres and to move the infill around to create a level surface. Moving the infill around through a brushing programme helps to minimise the threat of moss and algae.

  • Aggressive brushing action keeps infill mobile and prevents surface compaction and loss of porosity
  • Maintains infill level at a constant depth giving consistent playing characteristics
  • Helps to prevent fibre damage caused by reduced infill levels
  • Uses fewer passes than conventional dragbrushes causing less compaction
  • Disperses top dressing quickly and evenly preventing excess material being left on the surface
  • Storage frame ensures handling and fitting the system to tractor is simple and safe. It also helps to protect the system during movement and storage. Fitted with castor wheels

FAQS

What is the SISIS Osca 3 used for?

The Osca 3 is a dual-purpose tractor-mounted powered brush system designed for maintaining synthetic turf surfaces. It provides aggressive brushing to prevent compaction and also functions as a conventional dragbrush for lighter, routine brushing.

How does the dual-purpose system work?

With the PTO engaged, the oscillating brushes deliver an aggressive action that agitates the upper infill, reduces compaction, and stands fibres upright. With the PTO disengaged, it acts as a dragbrush for light brushing and levelling infill.

What type of surfaces can the Osca 3 be used on?

It is ideally suited for synthetic turf with sand or rubber crumb infill, making it perfect for sports pitches, training grounds and stadiums.

What are the key benefits of the Osca 3?

  1. Keeps infill mobile to prevent compaction
  2. Maintains consistent infill depth and playing characteristics
  3. Reduces fibre damage caused by low infill levels
  4. Requires fewer passes than traditional dragbrushes
  5. Disperses top dressing evenly
  6. Helps reduce moss and algae growth

What is the working width of the Osca 3?

The working width is 1900mm (1.9m / 76”), allowing efficient coverage with fewer passes.

What tractor power is required?

A tractor with a minimum of 18hp is required to operate the Osca 3.

How easy is it to attach and store the Osca 3?

The Osca 3 is supplied with a storage frame and castor wheels, making attachment, detachment, handling, and storage simple, safe, and convenient.

How does the Osca 3 help with pitch longevity?

Regular brushing prevents surface compaction, maintains porosity, and keeps fibres upright, ensuring the synthetic pitch remains playable, safe, and visually appealing for longer.

Are there optional items or accessories available?

Yes, optional items can be specified depending on your maintenance programme needs.
