Dennis & Sisis To Launch New Ride-On Brush System At Saltex

Article - The-new-SISIS-Brush-Pro

Dennis and SISIS will again be exhibiting and demonstrating their range of world class turf maintenance equipment at Saltex 2012.

Visitors to the stand will be able to view an upgraded and improved version of the SISIS ride-on brush system which is designed specifically for the maintenance of synthetic surfaces.

The Dennis and SISIS team of engineers worked closely with end users through a series of product development discussions to ensure the new model met expectations. The system consists of a pair of mid mounted oscillating brush units for periodic aggressive maintenance and three rear mounted brushes for more regular maintenance. The new 2012 version has a more modern design, more responsive manoeuvrability, and overall advancements in the mechanism of the machine making it better ergonomically and more operator friendly.

When in operation the brushes stand the carpet fibres up and re-distributes the infill, minimising compaction on the surface and improving its playing surface.

From the Dennis product portfolio, of most interest will be the FT and G860, both cassette based mowers that really deliver when a multi- purpose machine is needed.  The FT series being available in 43cm (17”), 51cm (20”) and 61cm (24”) widths, and the G860 coming in at an impressive 86cm (34”).

These machines perform a multitude of tasks to enable Groundsmen, Greenkeepers and Gardeners to maintain their grass surfaces all year round.  The FT with its unique roller clutch drive for a smooth take up and variable clip rate, together with its three part steel geared differential roller for easy turning without turf damage, makes for the ultimate finish.  For maintaining larger areas of turf the strong and reliable, yet light weight, G860 mower comes into its own. These popular machines can be found at many of the best sporting venues and on the lawns of the famous houses across the country.

The FT offers five or ten blade cylinders, and the G860 six and eight-blade.  Both models are designed to accommodate interchangeable cassettes which give the option to fit 11 different cassettes - scarifier, verticutter, brushes, spikers, slitters - ensuring all key maintenance tasks can be carried out with a single power unit, maximising a return on investment and keeping machinery inventory to a minimum.
